Your Business Development Manager

One of the most important and valuable services you will receive as a PaySmart Business Partner is provided to you by our Business Development Managers (BDMs).

They have the ability to navigate around a business and engage with all the appropriate stakeholders ensuring that there is universal ‘buy-in’ and optimal use of the PaySmart products and systems.

The primary function of your PaySmart BDM is to assist with all your billing services and payment requirements including;

Personalised staff training on all PaySmart systems and technology

Know-how on how to best integrate direct debiting into your business.

Marketing consultation to ensure you grow your share of the local market.

Business consultation and insights to ensure you are kept up to date with the latest industry trends and opportunities.

Andrew has continued the legacy of PaySmart’s roots, beginning as a family owned and operated business in the Health and Fitness industry. As an integral part of PaySmart’s ongoing developments since 1999, Andrews extensive background in Health and Fitness as a Personal Trainer while owner and operator of his own gym has enabled him the insight and knowledge to better understand the needs of PaySmart clients and help maximise their business opportunities.

Over the last 2 decades, Andrew has been a key contributor to the constantly evolving operations and services within PaySmart delivering innovative client experiences and excellence in services to their customers. Overseeing the billing, settling, and customer relation operations, Andrew prides himself on constantly evolving and optimising internal processes to ensure PaySmart clients and their customers are receiving excellence in services with access to the latest in software and products using cutting-edge technology. Witnessing the rapid expansion and growth of businesses who have adopted PaySmart’s billing platform, Andrew believes ‘innovation stems from the frameworks and infrastructure within PaySmart’.

In 2007 Colin joined PaySmart as a Business Development Manager looking after the Queensland and Northern Territory regions. Since then, Colins understanding of PaySmart and his unique business acumen has enabled him to achieve a leadership role within PaySmart, empowering his team of Business Development and Account Managers with knowledge, experience and dedication.

Colin’s drive towards consistently enhancing client experiences is underpinned by his own thirst for knowledge, undergoing his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness then completing an Executive Master of Business Administration. During his time with PaySmart, Colin has helped thousands of businesses Australia-wide maximise cash-flow opportunities by redefining their payments processes and implement subscription billing models. Colin’s primary focus is to provide business owners with the support, resources and advice they needed to increase customer retention and accelerate their business growth.

Client Financial Manager

Kathy started with Paysmart in 2002 as a data entry operator later moving to the Administration Team, handling all communications while actioning all requests and reconciliations with customers and clients. Working her way up into senior, supervisory and training roles until years later, when the Client Financial Administration (CFA) role was created. 9 years on, Kathy now manages the CFA team, overseeing all the financial processes, billing customers, settling funds to clients, processing bank disputes and chargebacks, processing payment rejections etc, the list goes on.

With a Gym Sales background and originally starting as a Customer Service team member in 2006 to then managing the Customer Service team, Ross is one of the longest standing team members of PaySmart. During his time, Ross has occupied the roles of Customer Service Manager, Quality Assurance Lead, to now – PaySmart’s Business Analyst. Ross has enjoyed working for PaySmart and and is driven towards consistently learning and developing within Transaction Services Group (TSG). Ross considers PaySmart his second family and sees himself with TSG for many more years as a key contributor to the success and growth of PaySmart clients’ and their customers.
